Takehiko Nakao is Vice Minister of Finance for International Affairs, Japan. Prior to this, he was Senior Deputy Director-General of the International Bureau where he was the Financial Sub Sherpa for G8 Summit after which he was promoted to Director General of the Bureau in 2009. Mr. Nakao had also served as Minister, Embassy of Japan in Washington, DC. His most recent publications include “Challenges in International Finance and Japan’s Responses,” and “Reforming the International Monetary System: Japan’s Perspective.”
