Su-Mei Thompson is Chief Executive Officer of
The Women’s Foundation, Hong Kong SAR, China, a leading NGO dedicated
to the advancement of women in Hong Kong. She began her career as a corporate
finance associate at Linklaters before assuming senior management positions
with The Walt Disney Company, the Financial Times (FT), and Christie’s.
As the FT’s Managing Director for Asia, Ms. Thompson launched the
FT’s Asia edition in 2003 and served on the FT’s global
management board. She also launched the FT Sustainable Banking Awards
in collaboration with IFC. Additionally, Ms. Thompson is a co-founder and
advisory board member of Intelligence Squared Asia and is a corporate board
member of The Cheltenham Ladies College. She also serves on the board of
HKExlisted Natural Beauty Bio-technology Limited.
