Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala is Minister of Finance,
Nigeria. Prior to this, she was Managing Director at the World Bank (October
2007–August 2011). She served as Minister of Foreign Affairs of Nigeria
(June - August 2006) and Minister of Finance and Economy (July 2003–June
2006) and played a pivotal role in stabilizing and revitalizing the economic
growth of Nigeria and its historical debt cancellation negotiations. Ms.
Okonjo-Iweala held various senior positions in her 21 years at the World
Bank, including Vice President and Corporate Secretary.
