Paul Collier is Director, Centre for the Study of African Economies, and Professor of Economics and Public Policy at the Blavatnik School of Government and Professorial Fellow of St. Antony’s College, United Kingdom. His areas of activity: governance in low-income countries, especially the political economy of democracy, economic growth in Africa, economics of civil war, aid, globalization and poverty.
