Yi Gang is Deputy Governor of the People’s Bank of China (PBC), and Administrator of the State Administration of Foreign Exchange (SAFE). He has held various senior positions within the PBC, including Assistant Governor, Director General at the Monetary Policy Department, Deputy Director General, Monetary Policy Department and Secretary-General of the Monetary Policy Committee of PBC.
