Sharmini Coorey is Director, Institute for Capacity Development, International Monetary Fund. Her experience includes work on Fund surveillance and programs in industrial, emerging, and low-income economies in Europe, Asia, North and South America, and Africa, as well as on various Fund policy issues. She has also served on the Editorial Committee of IMF Staff Papers. She has published papers on inflation and economic growth in transition and developing countries and edited a book on managing the oil wealth of the CEMAC region.
