Sharan Burrow is General Secretary, International Trade Union Confederation (ITUC). Prior to this, she served as ITUC President since its Founding Congress and ICFTU President; the first woman to have held any of these positions. She has also served as a member of the Governing Body of the International Labor Organization and a member of the Stakeholder Council of the Global Reporting Initiative.
