Miguel Castilla is Minister of Economy and Finance,
Republic of Peru since July 2011. He is also the current Peruvian Governor
at the World Bank, the Inter American Development Bank, and the Andean
Development Corporation. Mr. Castilla has held several positions at the
Ministry of Economy and Finance, including Deputy Finance Minister and
Chief of Staff as well as with several multilateral financial institutions,
including Chief Economist and Vice President of Public Policies and Competitiveness
with the Andean Development Corporation. He has also served as board member
at the Bank of the Nation and at the Development Financial Corporation,
Peru’s state-owned banks. Previously, he worked at the World Bank and
the Inter American Investment Corporation in Washington, DC.
