Koriki Jojima is Minister of Finance, Japan since October 2012. Prior to this, he was Chairman of the Diet Affairs Committee, Democratic Party of Japan. Previously, he served as Acting Secretary General and Chairman of the Policy Research Council. He has had an extensive parliamentary career since he was first elected as a member of the House of Representatives in 1996.
