Danish International Development Agency, (DANIDA). DANIDA'S EVALUATION SECRETARIAT 's purpose is to contribute to maintaining and improving the quality of Danish Aid. Danida evaluations primarily serve as management tools with a view to improve the projects evaluated and, bieng a systematic way to learn from experience, to provide lessons which can guide future decisions and thus to improve Danish development assistance.
Department for International Development (DFID). The Department for International Development (DFID) is the UK Government department responsible for promoting development and the reduction of poverty.  The bulk of DFID's assistance is concentrated on the poorest countries in Asia and sub-Saharan Africa, but DFID also contributes to poverty elimination and sustainable development in middle-income countries in Latin America, the Caribbean and elsewhere. In the transition countries of central and Eastern Europe, DFID is helping to ensure the process of change brings benefits to all people, particularly to the poorest. As well as headquarters in London and East Kilbride, DFID has offices in many developing countries. In others, DFID works through staff based in British embassies and high commissions.
IOB, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Development Cooperation (the Netherlands). IOB's overall objective is to meet the need for independent evaluation in all fields of foreign policy. Specifically, the aim is to fit the results of the evaluations into the knowledge cycle of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The reports of the evaluations are used as feedback to improve both policies and their implementation. With the results of previous exercises at their disposal, policymakers can prepare new interventions more purposefully and more effectively.
Japan International Cooperation Agency, (JICA) : The Office of Evaluation and Post-Project Monitoring. The Office of Evaluation and Post-Project Monitoring was restructured as the Evaluation and Programs section in April 1990 and became independent in October 1996 as the Office of Evaluation and Post Monitoring. The Office of Evaluation and Post Monitoring combined with the Planning and Evaluation Division in January 2000 in order to strengthen the feedback of evaluation results into projects, and evaluation is now preformed by this division.
Le Groupe de l'Agence Francaise de Developpement (AFD) : L'Evaluation Retrospective. L'Evaluation Retrospective depend du departement du Controle general, rattache directement a la Direction generale, la Division des Evaluations retrospectives assure la realisation d'evaluations retrospectives et la supervision du dispositif de suivi et d'etablissement de rapports d'achevement de projets (SRAP).
